The True Believers is a piece by Frances Gentile, where we see young, arrogant and entitled Brett, craftsy and slobby Sandra, and the eccentric, strong-willed Fern. Brett is about to attend the interview for his dream job, while Fern is doing her best to avoid employment. After belittling their ambitions, Fern and Sandra give Brett a lesson on justice.

The True Believers was produced as part of Urban Arts’ first 10-Minute Playwright Competition. The theme of 2016 was “Socially Relevant?” and featured 8 short plays written and performed by local artists.
