Part of the “Living On The Edge” series with Actors Theatre, “Something Not So….Violent” is a one-act play written by Brad Sytsma. 

When Adam’s dog, Caesar, escapes through the fence one night, he enlists his mother, Claire, and his girlfriend, Sarah, to help him search. Adam is ever-optimistic that they’ll find his canine companion; meanwhile, Sarah is biting her tongue to keep a secret that’s dying to get out: she buried Caesar the night before after accidentally hitting him with her car. With Adam already blaming her for letting Caesar out and the pressure on to reveal the truth, Sarah does the only thing she can think of: she blames it on his mom.

This short, dark comedy will leave you in stitches! (Then, you should probably pet a cute puppy.)
